‘Game-changer’: NSW Premier scraps hotel quarantine for fully vaccinated

6PR Mornings Presenter Liam Bartlett says the announcement by New South Wales Premier Dominic Perrottet scrapping hotel quarantine for those who are fully vaccinated is a “game-changer”.
From November 1, hotel and home quarantine requirements for those who are fully vaccinated will be scrapped.
Only a pre-departure PCR test will be required.
A weekly cap of 210 people will remain on unvaccinated people entering Australia and they will still need to do hotel quarantine.
Liam Bartlett said it was a significant announcement.
“The new Premier, Dominic Perrottet, has come out swinging, and made what I think is probably the biggest shift in approach to the virus that we’ve seen, certainly in the last 12 months, arguably since the start of the pandemic.”
