Gambling ads in spotlight after Brownlow bombardment

The pandemic is partly to blame for the influx of sports gambling advertising, which came into focus after Sunday night’s televised Brownlow Medal count.
Advertising expert Mike Drysdale tells Michael Genovese on 6PR Breakfast the advertising is killing Aussie sport as it becomes more prevalent in mainstream media.
“The Brownlow coverage was a bit of a wild one, if felt like one of those 12-minute infomercials from late-night TV,” he said.
