An affected homeowner has started an online petition in a public demand for justice for homeowners affected by faulty IPLEX piping.

Stuart Pritchard told Sean Cowan on 6PR Mornings he’s had seven water pipes burst in his house in the last four years, an issue being experienced by many homeowners.

“It’s quite a confronting issue when you come home form work and find that your ceilings are all sodden wet and there’s water all over the floor,” Mr Pritchard said.

“I’ve heard that the DMIRS are only looking at houses from 2017 onwards, and that leaves thousands of homeowners left to fight for ourselves.”
