WA Police have shared some remarkable body-worn camera footage, giving Western Australians a glimpse into the work of motorbike and bicycle police.

First-class constable and traffic enforcement motorcyclist Don Justin told 6PR Mornings host Simon Beaumont about a dangerous driver caught playing Minecraft on Tonkin Highway.

“At the end of the day, people laugh at the story, but distracted driving is not funny when somebody gets hurt – that’s when things change”, Justin said.

Beaumont then spoke to probationary constable Zac Howieson, a cycle cop who pursued an e-scooter rider through Carillon City, in an incident that ended on train tracks.

“Honestly, I was surprised to see the motorbike through the Carillon”, Howieson said.
