After a 26-year absence, the AFL State of Origin is set to return to Western Australia in 2026.

Perth Live host Oliver Peterson spoke with Premier Roger Cook about this news, as well as discussing public holiday changes, North West Shelf approval, and the $12 billion commitment to the Henderson Defence Precinct.

“This is going to be an incredibly important industry for Western Australia and will create over 10 thousand jobs,” he said.
