Fremantle’s homelessness crisis is worsening, with people sleeping on the doorstep of an empty fast food store.

Editor of Fremantle Street Wise Camelo Amalfi joined Perth Today and has taken a photo of at least four people sleeping rough on the doorstep of the empty Hungry Jacks building along the strip in Fremantle.

Pot plants were designed to discourage people from sleeping in the area was moved by the public, however Amalfi says the “problem is growing”.

“These are issues that have been discussed over and over and over,” Amalfi said on Perth Today.
