Fremantle in race to lure star Bombers forward out of retirement

Fremantle is trying to lure Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti out of AFL retirement.
The 29-year-old quit the Bombers this year after dealing with injury problems earlier in the season and failing to return to full fitness.
He played 126 games for Essendon through six seasons and was the club’s leading goalkicker in 2020.
6PR sports presenter Paddy Sweeney told Breakfast it makes sense for the Dockers to chase him, despite the club’s bevy of small forwards.
