Fremantle could adopt AFL Indigenous legend Eddie Bett’s suggestion for all league clubs to review its treatment of First Nations people in the wake of the Hawthorn saga.

6PR sports reporter Mitch Turner says the Dockers, who hold the record for the most amount of Indigenous players in a single game, says they are open to some sort of review.

“They have a rich history of Indigenous players at the club … Sydney have already come out and created a sub-committee chaired by their great Michael O’Loughlin,” he told Michael Genovese on 6PR Breakfast.

Fremantle came out unprompted with the news, while West Coast was yet to respond to questions on Betts’ advice, Turner said.
