Fremantle Citizen of the Year for 2025, Rosslyn De Souza, has published an opinion piece in the Fremantle Herald condemning young men in their 20s and 30s for coming into Fremantle and trashing areas.

De Souza told 6PR Breakfast hosts Millsy and Karl that the culprits forget they are constantly on camera, capturing their poor behaviour and lack of manners.
“People who look like they were in their mid-thirties on bicycles steal vases of flowers from some display, I mean what’s going on here?”, she said.
