Oliver Peterson questioned on Perth Live what allows Bunnings to open before 11am on Sundays but other retail stores like Coles, Kmart or Woolies can not.

“Without picking through old wounds, I wondered why it was so busy? I can go buy the cobweb broom and the laundry tub which are not urgent or necessary items but I couldn’t nick next door to the shopping centre and grab the weekly groceries because they wouldn’t open up the local Coles for another hour and a half.”

With the Bunnings store packed with Christmas and Halloween decorations, Oly highlighted that these ‘unessential’ items for sale, drew in a massive crowd before 9:30am on Sunday morning.

“Bunnings must be laughing all the way to the bank.”
