Former Principal and CEO of Real Schools Adam Voigt penned an opinion piece in The Age, arguing against the labelling of children or schools as ‘elite.’

Mr Voigt joined Julie-anne Sprague on 6PR Afternoons to discuss the label’s impact on children and families’ behaviour.

“It’s something I do feel really strongly about, because it’s not helping the kids the are being hyper-privileged by some of the circumstances we have in our education system in Australia,” Mr Voigt said.

“There is an issue for young people here, when they think their privilege outweighs their responsibility to the rules and others, they end up doing some really horrible things to people, that’s not okay for anyone.”
