West Coast Eagles have bounced back after last weeks loss, overcoming the Bombers by 15 points.

Despite being without spearhead Josh Kennedy (concussion) the Eagles were clinical in front of goals through Liam Ryan and Jack Darling.

Essendon took a little longer to get into the game relying on Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti to keep them in the game with a four goal haul. Daniher and Hooker not punishing the Eagles with inaccurate kicking.

A big third term by the Eagles left the Bombers chasing their season, Eagle Liam Ryan the danger man also finishing with four goals while Tom Cole and Bailey Williams assisted the attack with their first goal’s at AFL level.

The win see’s the Eagles move back into the top four with fifth placed Richmond still to play against Fremantle.

The night however soured with the news, Luke Shuey will be out for the remainder of the regular season due to a hamstring injury.
