Since being demolished in 2019, the site of the notorious Brownlie Towers public housing complex remains vacant, with many parts of it now revegetated.

This is despite ongoing promises from the State Government that the site would be a priority for infill housing.

Canning Mayor Patrick Hall told Gary Adshead on 6PR Mornings local residents are fed up with being told over and over again of plans to develop the site.
