The United Professional Firefighters Union of WA are launching industrial action to fight for better pay and better working conditions.

The union is wanting firefighters to have better penalty rates and restrictions on working overtime.

President of the UPFU of WA Clem Chan told Oliver Peterson on Perth Live the union wants their pay to be equal with other public services.

“The union is just seeking a fair, reasonable and negotiated outcome on our wages,” said Mr Chen.
