Jetstar has just been announced as the least punctual airline with customers facing a 42.1 per cent risk their flight will be delayed.

There are calls for the company to follow Canada where some airlines are being forced to pay passengers for cancellations and delays. 

Upstream Aviation spokesperson Tim Collins told Julie-anne on 6PR Afternoons Perth is also one of the least punctual airports.

“Perth is the third worst airport for on-time departures with only 69.8 per cent of flights departing Perth on time,” said Mr Collins.
