Simon Beaumont is continuing his pursuit of the issue of foxes savaging Cockburn’s turtle population.

Today, Simon spoke with Eddie Juras, Feral Invasive Species Eradication Manager, whose job it is to eradicate foxes around Perth.

Eddie suggests that the number of turtles killed would be much higher than originally reported.

‘This time of the year, it’s probably the worst time of the year because a lot of the city wetlands are drying up, so all the foxes from the other wetlands are moving in to where there is still water left,’ he said.
