Family escapes burning home in Perth’s north

An Edgewater home has been engulfed in flames early this morning.
Emergency services were called to the double-storey property on Prospector Gardens about 2.45am.
Residents of the home managed to escape the burning home safely and without injury.
It took firefighters 40 minutes to bring the blaze under control.
