A mask-wearing mandate has been reintroduced for 2 million residents in the Perth and Peel region.

It comes after WA recorded two new COVID-19 cases yesterday, and another three which will be included in today’s figures.

The new cases are all the highly contagious Omicron strain.

They are linked to two massage parlours in Apple Cross and Mt Lawley.

There are now 81 active Omicron COVID-19 cases across the state.

Everyone is urged to monitor for symptoms and check the Healthy WA website for exposure sites.
