Editorial: The WA health system is bracing itself for the greatest industrial disruption it’s faced.

Tomorrow morning the nurses will walk off the job en masse, completely ignoring and contravening an order of the Industrial Relations Commission not to strike.

The nurses will board scores of buses from their workplaces and descend on Parliament House as their fight for a five per cent pay increase reaches boiling point, with 800 surgeries cancelled and thousands of outpatient appointments put on hold.
