Expressions of interest to be opened for Northbridge Piazza

Oliver Peterson

The City of Perth is asking its residents for suggestions to breathe life into Northbridge, as the council takes suggestions for the Northbridge Piazza.

An email sent to rate payers on Tuesday night stated that the City will release an expression of interest for proposals to develop and deliver a program of activities in the area.

Chairman of the Business Improvement Group Northbridge, and Owner of the Mustang Bar, Mike Keiller, says it was a surprise the City asked it’s residents.

“Its an asset of the rate payers, they contribute to the upkeep and the entertainment that is provided there, so I was a bit surprised,” he said told Perth LIVE.

In the email, the City states the proposals could “include hybrid partnerships to create a working hub that is conductive to collaboration and innovation”.
