Experts warn parents to not use screens as babysitters

New research has found primary school children are spending more time in front of screens and are less active during school holidays.
The report found kids’ diets become more unhealthy on school holidays, with parents being urged to keep kids away from screens as much as possible.
University of South Australia researcher Dr Amanda Watson told Julie-anne Sprague on 6PR Afternoons parents need to actively engage with their children.
