With Coldplay tickets selling out within seconds, it can be tempting to buy second-hand tickets, however, consumer protection is urging people to be cautious.

Consumer Protection Commissioner Trish Blake told Julie-anne Sprague on 6PRAfternoons ticket scalping and scams are a major issue.

“You run the risk that when you turn up at the door at the event, they will look you out,” said Ms Blake.

“You could be throwing good money down the drain… and you won’t know till you get to the door.”
