Experts concerned about ‘exponentially rising’ number of e-scooter injuries

The National Trauma Committee at the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons is calling for the government to run an urgent review into e-scooters.

The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS)  believe there needs to be better surveillance, infrastructure and legislation around the use of e-scooters after a rise in serious injuries.

RACS National Trauma Committee chair Dr John Crozier told Oliver Peterson on Perth Live there have been “exponentially rising numbers of injured” from e-scooters.
