A health economics expert is calling on the Federal Government to reduce healthcare costs and improve Australians’ wellbeing by increasing and transforming spending on preventive health.

Deakin Health Economics Professor Jaithri Ananthapavan spoke to 6PR Radio Perth Live presenter Oliver Peterson and said at the moment, about 30 per cent of health burden was preventable costing Australians’ $24 billion in healthcare each year.
