Public school teachers have been told to avoid sharing their personal views on religion and politics under new Education Department guidelines.

President of the Principals’ Federal of Western Australia Kya Graves told Sean Lindsay these guidelines aren’t new.

“From my perspective, they [the guidelines] haven’t really changed; what they are is a great reminder of what we’ve always been told as educators to do,” she told Sean Lindsay, filling in for Oliver Peterson.
