Meningitis Centre Australia CEO Karen Quick is calling for all WA kids to receive the Meningococcal B vaccine for free.

Ms Quick spoke to 6PR Radio Perth Live presenter Russell Collett and said the State government could make the vaccine free “right here, right now”.

Five-year-old Esperance boy Charlie almost died earlier this year when he contracted Meningococcal B. Charlie’s mum Alyce Ware also spoke to Perth Live about how her son was put in a medically induced coma for four days after contracting the disease.
