Amid a rise in antisocial behaviour on flights, calls are growing for either an alcohol ban or the ability to breathalyse passengers if needed.

Teri O’Toole from the Flight Attendants Association of Australia told Perth Today host Simon Beaumont that the problem often starts before boarding.

She explained: ‘I don’t think it’s on the plane drinking that’s causing this, it’s actually how we’re dealing with people getting on board the aircraft already enebriated or certainly well on the way.’
