Hannah Fitzhardinge, Mayor of the City of Fremantle, informed Perth Today Host Simon Beaumont that the clean-up phase has not yet begun, as efforts are still focused on containment.

“We’re not clear at this stage how long it’s going to be going on for or what the clean-up looks like,” she stated.
