The Southwest community is reeling after the state government made an unpopular announcement, which was perceived as cowardly in the way it was delivered.

“One way or another, we knew they were going to try and bury this story,” he said.

Reece Whitby attempted to defend the actions, which led 6PR Breakfast host Karl to accuse the minister of spreading propaganda.

“You’ve gone too far and you don’t listen,” said Karl.
