A report into sexual assault and harassment within WA’s  mining industry has found it continues to be prevalent in the industry.

The report has been titled, ‘Enough is Enough.’

Bronte Glass, Maca Mining Employee- Alleged Sexual Assault Victim, told Liam Bartlett it was a step in the right direction.

“It is something,” she said.

“There needs to be a lot of changes in this industry.

“Lets hope that there is change in the future, I don’t want anybody going through what I went through Liam and have to keep fighting.”

Libby Mettam, WA Shadow Health Minister and Chair of Community Development and Justice Standing Committee, told Liam Bartlett it was disappointing the Minister for mines was not sitting in the Chamber when the report was delivered.

“This is not about the committee, it is about the voices we are representing,” she said.
