We are being warned that an egg shortage will continue if the market doesn’t change.

WA farmers say the decline of caged eggs has put pressure on the industry with free range eggs not being cost productive.

The President of the commercial Egg Producers Association of WA says the drought on the East coast has also caused issues in egg production.
