Eagles coach Adam Simpson is unsure when Nic Naitanui will return to the team but is hopeful midfielder Elliot Yeo will line up for the side’s round four clash with the Demons.

Simpson told Adam Papalia on WWOS the club misjudged the severity of Naitanui’s injury.

“We probably made a mistake not saying a while ago it was going to be a longer-term injury,” said Simpson.

“He’s multiple weeks away, so we’ll get that out properly probably the next couple of days about where it all sits.”
