Duo charged over shocking assault of female bus driver

Two people have been charged with the assault of a female bus driver at the Victoria Park Transfer Station overnight.
Police have revealed a 13-year-old boy spat on the driver, before stealing her mobile phone, while a 32-year-old woman allegedly punched the driver in her face.
Shane O’Brien, Lead Organiser of Transport Workers Union WA, told 6PR Breakfast that enough is enough.
“We’ve had three really significant instances in the last couple of months but there is a rise in anti-social behaviour in general at the moment. The other day three people got on the bus with hammers,” Mr O’Brien said.
