A 6PR listener has informed Breakfast hosts Millsy and Karl of a semi-trailer engulfed in flames 40km north of Carnarvon.

According to witness Steve, he was told the truck was carrying dangerous goods, causing traffic to hesitate passing due to exploding shrapnel.

“It was massive explosions, thick black smoke; the fire brigade is on its way but it’s essentially now almost a shell, absolutely incredible,” he said.
