After reporting on the emotional story of Evie Whipps earlier in the year, people from across the country have flooded her fundraiser with support, as well as offering her some opportunities of a lifetime.

Evie’s big wish is to meet the Bondi Rescue crew and while she battles the rare and aggressive disease diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma, it looks like her dream might come true.

“We want to create these amazing memories with her while she’s still functioning,” Evie’s mother Pia said.
