Dockers star Luke Ryan says the unprecedented noise of the purple army at Optus Stadium during last Saturday’s elimination final win over the Bulldgos has Fremantle in good stead for the semi-final clash against Collingwood at the MCG this Saturday.

The Magpies have one of the most ferocious followings in the AFL and the sell-out game will present another hearing hurdle for Freo, one Ryan says they have already discussed.

“We were trying to talk to each other and no one could hear anything,” he told Gareth Parker in his regular Thursday segment on 6PR Breakfast about last Saturday’s game.

“So then we had a really good chat on Tuesday about instead of trying to talk so much, use your eyes and hands to make it a little bit easier.”
