All-Australian Luke Ryan has all but revealed fellow Fremantle defender Heath Chapman will return via the WAFL.

In his regular Thursday segment on 6PR Breakfast, Ryan told stand-in host Mark Gibson key forward Matt Taberner’s hamstring scare was just that, and he’d likely front up against the Saints at Marvel Stadium on Saturday, while Chapman might return via the WAFL after a five-week absence from AFL action.

“I think he’s had five weeks with no footy, so he might come into the side or might play a game or two in the WAFL to get some minutes into his legs again,” he said.
