A diehard Fremantle Dockers fan has exclusively shared with 6PR how she managed to fill two 100-seat Fokker aircraft bound for the AFL grand final in Melbourne.

Speaking with 6PR Weekends host Chrissy Morrissy, Kathy Collett said fellow fans were eager to get on board.

“We did it in 2013 and we just thought, ‘We know how costly it gets if you leave it to the last minute.’ So we thought, ‘Let’s go back to the list we did in 2013 and see if we get much interest’ – and lo and behold, everyone was involved,” she said.

Collett successfully filled two charter aircraft, though she stopped short of securing a third.

“It went from one plane to two planes. There were even talks of trying to get a third,” she said.
