Australian classrooms are amongst the most chaotic in the world, a new study shows.

Centre for Independent Studies Education Director Glenn Fahey told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast it’s easy to compare ourselves to more studious nations, but the issue is more complex than that.

“We’ve really earned ourselves an unenviable reputation when it comes to disorder in classrooms,” Mr Fahey said.

“A lot of people say it’s related to digital devices, which is party true, but it’s also deeply connected to effective teaching.”
