Blake Acres played his first Fremantle game last week and Fremantle got their first win of the season, despite a slow start to the game.

Now Acres is set to make his derby debut this Sunday and says to play in front of a big home crowd is going to be “awesome”.

“I’ve grown up watching them (Derbies), it’s probably the main game you want to play; I know all the boys pencil it in around this time of year and they’re excited.
“I’ve got Mum and dad coming down from up north to come and watch my first game for Freo (in Perth),” Acres told 6PR Breakfast.
