Australian dentists warn that fast-tracking overseas-trained practitioners could put patient safety at risk and do little to solve dental shortages in regional Australia.

Australian Dental Association President Dr Chris Sanzaro spoke with 6PR Breakfast about the impact of fast-tracking overseas-trained practitioners on regional dental shortages.

“We need schemes that are targeted around getting dentists out of the cities and into the areas where they’re needed,” Sanzaro said.
