Denied by the terminal: Blind 87-year-old refused service over cash ban
An 87-year-old vision-impaired woman has shared her frustration after a tradesperson refused to accept cash for a job.

Speaking to 6PR Weekends host Chrissy Morrissy, she explained that electronic payment was not a viable option for her.
“I’m 87 … and I’m legally blind. I had a tradesman come out, when I went to pay, he had a flat screen. I can’t see to use a flat screen. I told him I had cash, he would not take cash … [Tradesmen] should be able to take cash,” she said.
