‘Damn it, Janet’: Slippery finger costs listener $8000

An unfortunate technical issue with her mobile phone has prevented Mornings listener Janet from claiming $8000 in 6PR’s popular competition that has everyone on edge.
Mornings host Liam Bartlett couldn’t believe it when Janet finally answered the call after the permitted time, with the correct response and codeword in hand.
Janet: “I couldn’t swipe the phone quick enough.”
Liam (tongue in cheek): “I saw the name, Janet from Mosman Park, and I said this is going to a monty, this is going to be one of our more intellectual, educated listeners who is going to pick this up and run with it.”
Janet: “Well I live in the poor part of Mosman Park, Liam, so I’m not a wealthy girl.”
Her unfortunate slip means $9000 is up for grabs during Millsy at Midday from 12-3pm today, with cash prizes on offer for listeners four times a day until July 29.
