Damian’s regret at choosing BGC as building delays drag on
Hundreds of BGC customers have joined to launch a legal fight for compensation after some have waited two years and longer for their homes to be completed by the building giant.
One disgruntled client, Damian*, has waited this long and told 6PR Afternoons host Jo McManus that at the time of signing a contract with BGC he was told home builds were being completed within the contracted time.
“That would have had my home finished at August this year, at the moment we’re waiting for our roof to be finished, so it’s not even at lock-up stage, it’s not even watertight,” he said.

“I’ve always had to reach out to get any answers, and getting on timeframes, or the reasons for delays, has kind of been like pulling teeth.” ht for compensation.
Extensive delays left BGC customers no choice but to secure Morgan Alteruthemeyer Legal Group to represent them in a class action movement in the Federal Court.
BGC Housing Group includes Aussie Living Homes, Homestart, Smart Homes for Living, Now Living, Terrace and Ventura South West.
BGC responded to Damian’s interview with a statement saying building delays of this timeframe were customary across the country.
