Fashion icon Dame Vivienne Westwood died ‘peacefully’ overnight.

The announcement was made by her fashion house with the cause of death yet to be revealed.

Entertainment reporter Luke Dennehy told 6PR Breakfast she left behind a legacy.

“It’s just very sad news,” said Mr Dennehy.
