Pints & Ponytails, an initiative brought to Perth from the UK, hosts workshops for dads to learn to style their daughters’ hair in a relaxed pub setting.

Dan Gasper, the organiser, explained to 6PR Long Lunch host Chrissy Morrissy that the goal is to help dads and daughters connect and set a good example.

Gasper stressed the importance of male role models in domestic life.

“I’ve got a son and a daughter and I want to role model to both that dad is a really important person in the domestic duties in the house, set that example for the next generation,” he said.
