Peter Dutton has announced that his party will halve the fuel excise for a year if voted in, saving motorists about 25c per litre.

James Ward from Drive explained to 6PR Breakfast hosts Millsy and Karl that this could be a winning policy.

“As a motorist, you feel that today, you don’t have to wait for a tax return to come in to see relief,” he said.
