The State Government has thrown their support behind a pioneering program designed to protect people from scams.

Minister for Finance and Commerce Sue Ellery told Gary Adshead on 6PR Mornings the program would deliver two four-wheel-drive vehicles which would travel throughout WA and inform people of the risks of identity theft.

“We’re really just dealing with the tip of the iceberg, and we really need to make sure people are informed and know how to quickly recover their ID,” Ms Ellery said.
