Firefighters have brought a fire at a South Fremantle Indian restaurant under control.

Emergency crews were called to the South Terrace business just after 4.30am this morning.

It took crews under an hour to bring the fire under control.

The cause of the blaze is currently unknown, but it’s understood the fire began in the back of the premises.
