COVID isolation rules SCRAPPED by National Cabinet

COVID-positive Australians will no longer have to isolate at home by law.
National Cabinet agreed on Friday to scrap the mandatory isolation period for people with coronavirus, which will come into effect from October 14.
COVID-positive health care workers won’t be able to return to work until clear of the virus, but the mandate will be removed for everybody else, bringing Australia in line with much of the rest of the world.
